Comic-con Prep List

Comic-con Prep List (Complete at least 3 days prior)

1) Filtered Water bottle (anti leak)
Collapsible cups if you going with a group
If you're lucky you'll find people handing out promo drinks. Otherwise bring a good 24oz.

2) An outlet; (2012)
but now they have a charging station and it will get packed.

3) Phone charger: wire and plug
(make sure it works)

4) Power Bank incase you can't plug for charge

5) Prepackaged food or not easily spoiled
(like bread, PB & J, or danish)
And candy or quick snack products, if you don't want to stop and eat. (Rice crispy, gornola bar, etc)

6) Book Bag / Large camping bag
Make sure it's empty, and take a couple of large tote bags just in case.
With back support and chest stability straps would be best /// Or consider a wheelie cart.
And pack some napkins (wipe mouth and butt...) bathrooms aren't stocked or cleaned for the whole day when there's that many people at the convention.

7) Wear comfortable sneakers with good support (Not worn out, because the walking will have them worn out... you'll need all the support you can get.)

8) Dress layer-able and light; Comfortable!

9) Eat a full meal and check weather before leaving the house.

10) Cash, bring a few hundred bucks because even ATMs will have huge lines on site.
(20s, also a few 10s, 5s, 1s)

11) Bathrooms will have long lines that makes U-turns, and that will eat up your time. If you're that hard core, wear adult diaper or bladder leak pads.

Lastly, a few rubber bands (5-10) to secure rolled up free posters.
Use an artist tube if you're worried about damages in general.

......

Anything high on your priority list to must see or experience, head there early, before starting time. (Popular ones will have lines, and you want a good seat)

Get the paper map on site (or your phone will die, fast) and bring a sharpie & pen.

(Badge: shoe lace/ goodies string if thin enough (or use tie clip to create bigger gap than badge.)

2022: (We old now…)
Prolonged standing and walking will irritate the sciatica
Bring a back supported belt, pain killers, and anti-inflammatory like Naproxen.
